Getting Started with AirStrip is Quick and Easy
AirStrip ensures a timely, streamlined implementation—whether rolling out a single facility or an entire multi-regional health system. Our multi-disciplinary implementation team works closely with stakeholders—clinical, business, and IT—to achieve the successful deployment of AirStrip products.
Our team follows the ADPIE methodology as the foundation for AirStrip implementations. ADPIE stands for Assessment, Develop, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation. This clinically focused problem-solving process promotes adapting the technology to clinical workflows.
The AirStrip team will meet with clinicians and leadership within your hospital to ensure we understand your current workflow practices, areas for improvement, and your goals related to AirStrip. We review scope and goals, validate the project team, perform 3rd party integration system risk assessments, define steps to achieve objectives, develop a training plan, and confirm that all expectations and timelines are mutually understood and agreed upon. We will conduct walk-throughs of areas within your facility that will be impacted by AirStrip and begin data collection, which is valuable in making workflow design choices. This data will be used throughout the project lifecycle to improve efficiency.
Once we understand the current state and review the data collected, we move into the Develop phase of the project. Our team will create a comprehensive workflow design that meets the needs of your clinicians. We provide your team with a findings document that includes next-step recommendations, current-state diagrams, and future-state diagrams. The assessment document helps your team understand the current environment and provides workflow design options for you to consider.
During the project kick-off, we review scope and goals, validate the project team, perform 3rd party integration system risk assessments, define steps to achieve objectives, develop a training plan, and confirm that all expectations and timelines are mutually understood and agreed upon. After the design is completed, the team will test and review the integrations that will be required to optimize AirStrip within your organization. Real-world clinical simulations, or user acceptance testing, allow clinicians a chance to use AirStrip. Your team will have the opportunity to make any final adjustments to the workflows in preparation for Go-Live.
The AirStrip team will be present on-site to help ensure a smooth go-live. Hands-on training for administrators, super-users, and end users enables rapid adoption and we provide at-the-elbow training for clinicians throughout rounding.
Since AirStrip is customized specifically for your hospital, we believe that continuous evaluation is necessary for success. We conduct a post-implementation evaluation where we review clinical adoption and optimization. We monitor product performance and client alignment via quarterly business reviews, analyze utilization reports, and evaluate workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
We believe end-user education is key to successful AirStrip implementations. Our team of clinical experts provide a variety of educational offerings including elbow-to-elbow onsite training, train-the-trainer programs, tip sheets, and on-demand videos, to make sure your team is equipped to use AirStrip to its fullest.
