AirStrip® InsightIQ

InsightIQ presents a synchronized snapshot of the patient’s condition. It organizes and presents information from standalone medical devices, clinical applications, and electronic medical records. Most importantly, it translates data streams into actionable information based on a health care provider’s established protocols.

InsightIQ Highlights

Sepsis

When a patient is confirmed with Sepsis, a checklist or tasklist can be displayed showing the status of various actions to be performed - e.g., lab draws, medications, etc. Color coding indicates completed or outstanding tasks, documentation, or activities (see the following example).

Acute Kidney Injury

In this example, the Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) bundle turned yellow indicating possible issues with the patient’s current medications and status of their kidney function. The sudden rise in the creatinine value triggered an early intervention alert to the care team for a medication review.

Rapid Response

The Facility View helps the clinicians visualize the critical patients throughout the hospital system on the basis of the severity of an Early Warning Score (EWS) system. The clinician can adjust the threshold for the EWS alerts based on their patient population.

Pressure Reactivity Index

To develop a PRx graph today is a very manual and labor-intensive process. The graph requires a clinician to manually extract data from the EHR and plot the graph which can consume several hours daily to generate a small number of graphs. InsightIQ does this real-time, all the time.

Medication Overlay

Selecting a clinical value or vital from the Patient View shows the vital signs and trends over the past 24 hours, plus a list of active medications. Clicking on one or more medications will instantly plot the administration time of the medication vs. the vital signs trend.

Labor and Delivery

InsightIQ is configured to align with current national maternal safety standards for hemorrhage and hypertension, as well as hospital-defined care protocols - providing timely clinical decision support once clinical criteria are met.

*The Decisio Health Patient Dashboard (Decisio Insight) is a decision support device indicated for aggregating, displaying, and managing physiologic and other patient information. This information is generated by third party medical devices and patient information systems. The device performs automated calculations on patient data collected by third party devices based on approved clinical protocols at patient care facilities. The Decisio Health Patient Dashboard (Decisio Insight) is intended for use by clinicians in healthcare facilities. The Decisio Health Patient Dashboard (“Patient Dashboard”) is a data aggregation and visualization software device. The Patient Dashboard is designed to display patient information, facility specific care protocols, and visual cues to care providers on a single display device. The Patient Dashboard is configured to receive patient data through the facility’s Electronic Medical Record system and display information to the user on a patient monitor, computer, or a mobile device. Data received through the EMR includes input from various sources within the hospital, including manually entered data into the EMR (e.g., laboratory data), vital signs monitors, ventilators, IV pumps, and Foley catheter devices. The data the Patient Dashboard receives are then stored, filtered, and displayed through the Patient Dashboard web browser application. The Patient Dashboard is customized to individual facility’s care as it is programmed with the facility’s treatment protocols, which dictate the information that is displayed relative to those protocols. The device performs automated calculations on patient data collected by third party devices based on approved clinical protocols at patient care facilities.
